Praise the Lord! This year Catholic Youth Expeditions is celebrating its 10-year anniversary! Ten years ago I founded CYE to: Encounter Jesus Christ and foster Catholic Christian community through expedition retreats of prayer, proclamation of the Gospel, and outdoor adventure!! This summer, 2012, we are combining our family weekend and special needs weekend into a HUGE celebration called CATHOLICFEST on July 13th-15th. This family friendly event is to give praise, honor, and glory to God for the 10 years of graces poured out by the Holy Spirit through the apostolate of CYE.
Of course, there are many who are wondering what this event all entails. This three-day event will include fun for the entire family with concerts, workshops, talks, perpetual adoration, Mass, outdoor adventure, and many other activities. Our goal is to celebrate all that is GOOD, TRUE, and BEAUTIFUL in music, film, art, and literature.
