Hiking boots are a must!! Make sure they are broken in and well
worn or blisters will come! Make sure you have wool socks....not
cotton socks. Two pair are sufficient!
We will provide hiking backpacks. If you have a lightweight hiking backpack you can use that. We will supply
food and each participant will be responsible for carrying food. We will supply tents. If you have a light weight
tent, let me know. ***On these longer trips, it is essential to bring a bear minimum because of weight.*** A backpack
should not weigh more than 40 lbs. The most important thing is to have is a good pair of hiking boots that are well
worn in. Safety is our first priority and the right gear is essential for this kind of trip.
We will have all the utensils, cooking gear and the water purifier with us. We also will have extra light-weight back packs to help
lighten the weight. |
