going?”

a young adult searching for life’s ultimate meaning
you have probably asked this question. So are you still looking
for an answer? Well, it takes time...believe me! But if you
are serious about answers come’on an adventure and
check out Catholic Youth Expeditions! CYE is a ministry for
young people setting out to discover our deep selvesI this summer: "VERSO L'ALTO, TO THE HEIGHTS" as Pier Giorgio Frassatti would say. On our different expeditions we participate in a “survivor” retreat.
No, you won’t get kicked off the island, but you will
meet other young people excited about finding life’s
ultimate meaning. They’ll be in the same boat as you
asking, “Where am I going with my life?” We camp
out so we’ll be ruggin’ it! At the same time,
however, the challenges, adventure, and fellowship will be
a lasting memory and you might just answer your own life’s
question. So jump aboard and give CYE a shot!

Summer’s here and you’re looking
for an adventure! Put the books away, get outside and sign-up
for a 4 day camping and hiking experience you will NEVER
forget! Catholic Youth Expeditions presents our high expeditions to KANGAROO LAKE. Hop on the bus and get away from the suburban and city life to enter into God's grand cathedral. Often, we go into our
summers hectic and busy making as much cash as possible
to get through school or buy that one thing we always wanted.
However, at the end of the day, we ask ourselves... “Am
I living my life to the extreme? Why am I
not happy?” Well,
here’s your chance to find some answers! Take a leap
of faith and meet other young people like yourself looking
for fun and adventure. Our expeditions are led by experienced
young adults who will guide you on an awesome
journey to the Midwest’s most beautiful spots. Catholic Youth Expeditions began in
the summer of 2002 with eight high school students from
Appleton, Wisconsin taking an amazing 37.8 mile hike through
Pictured Rock National Lakeshore in the UP! Now, entering
our ninth summer season, we will be having more fun then ever! Staffed by college students, these "expedition retreats" will offer swimming, ultimate frisbee, waterskiing,wake boarding, beach volleyball, hiking, high ropes course and mountain biking. During the expeditions, you will be
challenged with leadership experiences and faith affirming
talks/testimonies that will spur you on in your faith.
It’s tuff to be in high school and knowing this,
CYExpeditions offers a safe and secure environment to meet
others like yourself asking some bigger questions in life
like, “What does it mean to have faith? Why should
I even bother with God?” If you’re like me,
you’ve asked these questions and time in the outdoors
with others your age is an awesome place to find the answers
you’re looking for! So, take a leap of faith and
don’t miss the bus! |
